Four killed, one injured in traffic accidents

Police hand over the bodies of the deceased to their heirs after due process

Four persons were killed and one injured in different traffic accidents.

Two youngsters, riding a motorcycle, were killed in a traffic accident on National Highway between Gulshan-e-Hadeed turn and the 100-bed hospital in Steel Town police station area between Friday and Friday Saturday night. Bodies of the deceased were shifted to Jinnah Hospital. The deceased were identified as 16-year-old Owais, son of Amanullah and 17-year-old Hasnain, son of Muhammad Kamran. The deceased were the residents of Korangi Madina Colony and were friends. In this regard, Steel Town police said that the young boys were going to Data Dargah in interior Sindh on Shab-e-Barat and were hit by an unidentified speeding vehicle. Police handed over the bodies of the deceased to their heirs after due process.

A pedestrian was killed when a hit-and-run speeding vehicle knocked him down while he was crossing the road near Qayyoomabad roundabout. The body of deceased was shifted to Jinnah Hospital where he was identified as 52-year-old Nizamuddin.

A young man riding a motorcycle was killed snother was seriously injured near Port Qasim on National Highway within the Bin Qasim Town police station. They were rushed to Jinnah Hospital.

The deceased was identified as 17-year-old Zubair, son of Muhammad Rafiq, and the injured was identified as 22-year-old Obaid, son of Abbas. According to rescue officials, the accident occurred when their motorcycle hit the footpath. The whereabouts of the youth were not immediately known.
