PPP warns of public backlash if governor rule imposed in Sindh

Paty says it won't be able to take responsibility for the security of the PTI's local leaders if governor rule imposed

HYDERABAD:

The Pakistan Peoples Party provincial leaders have warned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's government that any attempt to harm the MNAs who are likely to vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan or to impose governor rule in Sindh will entail a backlash.

At a press conference at Hyderabad press club on Friday Sindh Irrigation Minister Jam Khan Shoro and PPP Sindh Information Secretary Aajiz Dhamrah warned that they will not be able to control the people who voted for their party in the general elections if their mandate is snatched.

"If the PTI wants to impose the governor rule, we won't be able to take responsibility for the security of the PTI's local leaders, elected lawmakers and the governor house," warned Dhamrah. "Neither the people of Sindh nor the PPP can tolerate the robbery of their mandate.

Both of them condemned the alleged attempt of the PTI's workers to harass the MNAss staying at the Sindh House in Murree. They blamed Prime Minister Imran Khan for conspiring to trigger a clash between the workers of the political parties .

"The people blaming the PPP for buying off the PTI's MNA should tell why the PM postponed the cabinet meetings four times recently?"
