Annual sports festival concludes

Training College won the title of Best Zone by winning 14 gold medals

The 11th National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) Annual Sports Festival concluded on Friday, with a ceremony held at NH&MP Training College, Sheikhupura.

Inspector General NH&MP Inam Ghani attended as chief guest alongside other senior police officers. 

In the week-long Sports Festival, eight teams from different zones participated in competitions including Cricket, Football, Tug of War and others.

Training College won the title of Best Zone by winning 14 gold medals.

The Training College tug-of-war team remained unbeaten throughout the festival by winning the finals against Motorway Central 2. Addressing the occasion, IG Ghani praised NHMP as an honest and helpful force.

He further said that sports are part of life, and enjoying win is the spirit of the game.

He also added that sports activities always create healthy competition in organizations while fostering tolerance, teamwork, and determination.
