Govt wants to improve health sector: DC

He directed the doctors and paramedical staff to ensure their presence and treat patients with courtesy

MUZAFFARGARH:

Deputy Commissioner Syed Moosa Raza paid a surprise visit to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital on Monday afternoon and checked the facilities in different wards.

He said that the incumbent government was utilizing all resources for the provision of quality health facilities to the people.

According to official sources, Syed Moosa Raza said that the government was fully aware of the problems of the masses and taking initiatives for the betterment of the health sector.

The DC inspected various sections and wards of the hospital and directed the officials to provide medicines available in the hospital to the patients free of charge as per the orders of the Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar.

He directed the doctors and paramedical staff to ensure their presence and treat patients with courtesy.

The deputy commissioner also checked the cleanliness of the hospital, met the patients and asked them about the facilities being provided to them.
