Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Thursday Pakistan was pursuing the agenda of promoting economic priorities and regional links in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, and accorded special importance to bilateral relations with Russia.
Qureshi held a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Surgey Lavrov, on the sidelines of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Moscow visit, and discussed with him matters of mutual interest. The foreign minister emphasised that Pakistan-Russia ties had strengthened.

Lavrov congratulated Qureshi and the Pakistani leadership over the successful holding of the extraordinary meeting of the OIC foreign ministers conference. He also expressed good wishes for the success of the 48th meeting of the OIC-CFM to be held in Islamabad on March 22-23.
