Seven terrorists killed in two IBOs
The security forces killed seven terrorists, including one belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), in two separate operations in Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).
In K-P, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations, security forces launched an operation in the Hamzoni general area of North Waziristan district after reports of terrorists hiding there.
The ISPR said that during the intense exchange of fire, six terrorists were killed. They were identified as Muhammad Ali, Mateeullah, Muhammad Umar, Akhtar Hussain, Sher and Waseem.
The military’s media wing added that weapons, ammunition, and other equipment were also recovered from the hideout of the killed terrorists. Ammunition recovered included submachine guns, hand grenades, mines, handcuffs, and a large number of multiple calibre rounds.

“The killed terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces, target killing and kidnapping for ransom,” the ISPR said.
It added that residents of the area lauded the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate terrorism from the area.
Separately, the security forces launched an intelligence based operation after receiving reports of the presence of a terrorist hideout in the general area of Sambaza, Balochistan.
“Security forces conducted an operation to apprehend the TTP terrorists in Balochistan who were trying to infiltrate into adjacent tribal districts,” the ISPR said, adding that the terrorists had attacked the forces after the cave they were hiding in was surrounded.
“Resultantly, one terrorist was killed. In the process, a cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered that was planned to be used by terrorists against security forces,” the ISPR said.
The military’s media wing vowed that operations to eliminate terrorists will continue, adding that the miscreants would not be allowed to sabotage the peace and stability of the country.

On Wednesday, security forces killed at least 10 terrorists, including a commander, during an operation in Balochistan's Hoshab area.
According to the ISPR, the operation was conducted after the information about the presence of the terrorists in a camp in Hoshab.
The security forces conducted an operation to “apprehend externally sponsored enemies of peace” in Balochistan. “Once the troops started cordoning [off] the area, [the] terrorists tried to flee their hideout and opened indiscriminate fire whereby a heavy exchange of fire ensued," it added.
On Sunday, an officer of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom during an operation launched on the information of presence of terrorists in Balochistan's Kohlu district.
The ISPR said, "As soon as troops started cordoning [off] the area, terrorists while fleeing the hideout opened indiscriminate fire. During the ensuing heavy exchange of fire, Captain Haider Abbas embraced shahadat in pursuit of the terrorists."
