Illegal sale points of bikes in residential areas irk locals

Illegal sale points of motorbikes on Harley Street in Chaklala Cantonment has become continuous trouble for the residents.

This thriving illegal business in the residential area has put a question mark on the enforcement rules by the Chaklala Cantonment Board administration

The market continues to operate till late at night and has become a nightmare for the residents.

The residents have umpteenth times demanded of the authorities concerned to close down the illegal motorcycle market, however, it has fallen on a deaf ear.

It has almost become impossible for locals to venture out of their homes as the street has been occupied by motorcycle sellers.

Residents M Naeem Akhtar, Sheikh Abdul Waheed, Abdul Wase, Mohammad Siddiqui, Mohammad Sharjeel, Mohammad Muneeb, Tanveer, Hamid, Captain Ali and Sohail Ahmad Khan said that the illegal motorcycle market has created an awkward situation for the residents of Harley Street.

They said that the bazaar continues to operate till late at night.

They asked the authorities concerned to close down the illegal market.
