Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan has often spoken about his son Aryan’s disinterest in acting, but it appears that the young Khan has found a passion for working behind the scenes, particularly when it comes to constructing the backbone of every film through scriptwriting.
According to Pinkvilla’s sources, the 24-year-old soon-to-be-writer has been working on multiple ideas to be developed into feature films and web series. Of all the potential ideas currently in the works, sources claimed that there are two scripts currently being analysed by Amazon Prime Videos and Red Chillies Entertainment. A source disclosed the information, saying, “Of all the ideas in development, the two in the forefront is a web series for Amazon Prime and a feature film to be bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment.”
While the storylines are being kept tightly under wraps until things get finalised, the source shared bits about the web series. “The Amazon Prime series is said to be about the life of a die-hard fan with some elements of thrill, however, the details of feature films are not known yet. If everything proceeds at the right place, there’s a strong possibility of the show being greenlit by the platform this year itself.”
As of now, both of the scripts are in the development phase, waiting on revisions and requirements by the streaming platforms. Apart from these two, Aryan is also reportedly collaborating with Bilal Siddiqui as his co-writer on other projects with Red Chillies Entertainment.
The King of Bollywood’s family has followed him into the world and glamour and glitz in their own ways. Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana is also waiting to make her debut in the celebrated director Zoya Akhtar’s Bollywood adaptation of the Archie Comics for Netflix, likely to air this year. In 2018, she was featured on the cover of Vogue India which led to accusations of nepotism in the fraternity.
As for King Khan himself, he’s been working on his upcoming film Pathan and director Rajkumar Hirani’s social comedy.
