Lahore to host Horse and Cattle Show next month

CM Buzdar approves plan, cabinet’s standing committee for finance and development has sanctioned Rs677 million

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has approval a plan to hold the traditional Horse and Cattle Show in Lahore next month.

In view of the chief minister’s instructions for best arrangements for the occasion, the provincial cabinet’s standing committee for finance and development has sanctioned Rs677 million for the purpose.

An official statement quoted the chief minister as saying that the show would highlight and promote the culture and history of the province.

“The government will revive the traditional culture of carnivals to project the centuries-old civilisation of the province,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell Vice Chairman Nasir Bashir Salman has been appointed the CM’s Coordinator for Business and Trade Affairs.
