The wait is almost over! Not too long ago, singer and songwriter Asim Azhar shared the news of his debut album launching soon. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, the 26-year-old singer also dropped a teaser later that month hinting at a definite collaboration with celebrated actors Fahad Mustafa and Saba Qamar Zaman.
Sticking to his promise of releasing the first track off his album once the T20 World Cup ended, the Ghalat Fehmi hitmaker released the poster and teaser for the song's music video. A welcome surprise for many, the song titled Kabhi Mai Kabhi Tum features a bruised and battered Mustafa romancing Zaman.
The Humraah crooner took to his Instagram stories on Feb 16 to announce that he has a belated Valentine's Day gift for his fans. After months of waiting for his new music, the gift was a revealed date, poster and title for his first single from the album.
“Kabhi Mai...Kabhi Tum'. My first single from my debut album — 28.02.22," Azhar captioned the post. Azhar’s song is promised to be an ode to love.
Earlier in November, the Jo Tu Na Mila crooner also dropped a teaser from the headlining song of the album, which sees Qamar and Mustafa in all their glory.
Azhar, whose discography features the likes of Soneya, wrote in the caption: "Ladies and gentlemen, I have waited so long for this moment and finally — my first single from my first album [will be] releasing very soon!”
