Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Balochistan parliamentary leader Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind has blamed that the accused named in the case of killing three PTI workers last year in district Kachhi have yet to be arrested.
“The complainants are being pressurized by both police and CIA to withdraw the names of two accused allegedly involved in the murder”, he added.
“The victims will hold a sit-in on Quetta-Jacobabad highway to press for their demands,” he said.
Rind demanded justice for his party workers and reiterated his commitment not to sit in peace until justice is done.
“Our only demand is that the accused named in the FIR ought to be arrested,” he said.
Rind expressed these views while addressing a press conference at his residence in Quetta on Tuesday.
“Messages are being conveyed to us and the police that whoever is related to the Chief Minister could not be nabbed,” Rind added.
He requested the IG Police (IGP) Balochistan to never consider illegitimate orders in this case.
He resolved to raise voice on the floor of the provincial assembly against this injustice.
He hoped that the people of Naseerabad Division will stand up against this injustice and support the victims by fulfilling their democratic and humanitarian duty.
Terming it unfortunate, he said that the killers were seen sitting in the assembly with Balochistan Governor Syed Zahoor Agha and deputy speaker two days before the incident.
He appealed to the Prime Minister Imran Khan to take notice of the incident so that the murderers could be apprehended.
Responding to a question, he criticized the provincial government for its poor performance and favoritism in transfer-postings of civil servants.
He questioned the vision of the sitting Chief Minister of Balochistan about the province, and said due to provincial government’s incompetence, the entire province is being deprived of important development projects.
