A girl was allegedly sexually assaulted after being lured on the pretext of a job interview within the Saddar Bairuni police jurisdiction.

A case has been registered against three suspects including a woman on a complaint of the victim S*.

The victim, a resident of Multan, told the police that “she befriended a girl named Uzma on social media, who tricked her by offering a job and called her to Rawalpindi.”

According to the victim, when she arrived in Rawalpindi, Uzma called her to Mobile Plaza on Adiala Road.

The victim girl further said that Uzma put her in a car and two men were already sitting in it. She said that Uzma introduced her to them, named Imam Din and Riyasat and said that they will give her a job and now they were going to the office for her interview.

The victim said that they took her to a house where another man named Sajjad was present. She said that the three raped her at gunpoint. After raping her, the victim said, they dropped her at Mobile Plaza and threatened her not to disclose anything, otherwise, they would kill her.

Schoolteacher held for torturing student

A school teacher was arrested for allegedly torturing a 13-year-old student in the Rata Amral police jurisdiction.

According to police, Mohammad Shakeel said that his 13-year-old son Raheel, a ninth-grader in a private school in Scheme-VII was hit with sticks by the teacher identified as Aziz.
