CCW officers highlighted the importance of Safe Internet Day

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing (CCW) introduced a Parental Control Software regarding the safe and positive internet usage of children in an event on Tuesday.

The software was introduced in connection with “International Safe Internet Day” celebrated on 8 February every year across the world. The day is marked to raise awareness about the safe and positive use of the Internet.

On the occasion, the CCW officers highlighted the importance of Safe Internet Day and briefed the participants regarding safe surfing on the internet.

With the software, parents will be able to monitor their children's Internet activities.

Anti-Child Pornography Cell Assistant Director Imran Haider gave a briefing on a case investigation based on child pornography.

Additional Director General Muhammad Jaffer and Director Tariq Pervez directed the cybercrime wing to continue an awareness campaign on the safe use of the internet. They said that the cybercrime wing's awareness campaign would have a positive impact on society and help control crime.
