CM says he is on mission to eliminate poverty

Visits hospital sites, hears public complaints in open court

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar inaugurated a number of development projects during his visits to Barthi and Sallari areas in Koh-e-Suleman region in Dera Ghazi Khan division.

The CM inaugurated a bridge on Nullah Sunghar and the repair of the road from Zain to Barthi at a cost of Rs682 million. He inaugurated upgrade and construction of the boundary wall of Barthi graveyard, completed with Rs60 million.

He also inaugurated the Barthi tehsil headquarters upgrading project of Rs323 million.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of eight schemes under the Koh-e-Suleman Development Project. A tehsil complex will be completed with Rs120 million and a school of excellence in Barthi with Rs2.18 in addition to a multipurpose hall and a model dairy farm in Taunsa Sharif.

The CM laid the foundation stone of construction and repair of 22 link roads covering 132km with a cost of Rs2.13 billion and a mini-dam.

He was briefed about a road construction project from N-55 highway at Chokiwala to N-70 at Chappar in Balochistan.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of a 122km road construction and expansion project of Rs8.93 billion billion.

He said on the occasion that he was striving to solve problems of backward areas that were being targeted development after remaining deprived of facilities in the past.
