CM acknowledges performance of officials in RED campaign

While appreciating that 58 per cent of the eligible population of the province has been fully vaccinated against coronavirus after the Reach Every Door (RED) campaign, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has announced that the RED-III drive launched on Tuesday will continue till February 14.

The chief minister distributed shields among the deputy commissioners and chief executive officers of the health department who showed good performance in the Reach Every Door (RED) vaccination campaign to protect the citizens from coronavirus.

The shields were awarded to the officials of Mianwali, Bhakar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Sargodha, Okara, Kasur, Chiniot, Sahiwal, Multan, Toba Tek Singh, Lodhran, Attock, Pakpattan, Gujranwala, Vehari, Hafizabad and Khanewal.

Chief Minister Buzdar said the relevant departments would actively take part in the campaign to make it successful.

"Coronavirus is a global challenge and vaccination of the whole population is imperative to save them from this virus,"/he said.

The government was actively working to vaccinate the maximum number of people by visiting their homes, he said and appealed to the people to get the vaccine.
