MQM-P women to protest at Clifton today
Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Friday announced that it will hold a protest demonstration at the Teen Talwar Intersection of Clifton on Saturday to denounce the police action on peaceful protestors outside the CM house.
MQM-P Coordinating Committee Member MNA Kishwar Zehra said that calls were coming from all over the country to condemn the biased PPP-led Sindh government for use of force against a peaceful protest rally.
The MQM-P leader told the media at the party’s headquarters at Bahadurabad that political, religious and social organisations across the country have offered support to our cause.
Reminding the baton charge on PPP rally on Wednesday, she said, “we were protesting peacefully, but under a well-conceived conspiracy, PPP government unleashed terrorists in uniform.”

The MQM-P lawmaker said one of our workers and an innocent child was martyred due to police brutality on Wednesday.
Zehra further said that a grand protest against police brutality and criminal act will be held on Teen Talwar Chowk in Clifton on Saturday, January 29, at 1pm.
“I appeal to all the women sitting at home to come out and make this protest rally a success so that no one will try to repeat such violent incidents,” she said.
