PTI Senator lauds the actor for 'dynamite talent, acting perfectionism and transformative ability'

Ahmed Ali Akbar's recent offering, Parizaad, has earned him praises from the audience, critics and peers alike. The actor's take on his character in the show has been lauded by many, including politician Faisal Javed Khan.

The PTI Senator recently took to Twitter and shared a picture with the Laal Kabootar star and penned, "A character getting more fame than the actor behind it is a huge acknowledgment of an actor's outstanding performance."

He went on to add, "Such is the case with Ahmad Ali Akbar as Parizaad. His dynamite talent, acting perfectionism and transformative ability has earned him merited acclaim. Well done."

Beautifully penned by Hashim Nadeem, the characters in Parizaad are multi-faceted and rarely stereotyped. From unveiling the escort culture in a high-fashioned rich stata to a queer person in a middle-class household, the serial managed to bring fresh conversations to the table.

Previously scheduled to have 28 episodes, another episode was then announced to give complete closure to its audience last week. The last episode will now be aired on prime-time television on February 1, four days after the screening in cinemas.

The cast includes Nauman Ijaz, Syed Muhammad Ahmed, Urwa Hocane, Saboor Aly, Ushna Shah, Yumna Zaidi, Mashal Khan, Tipu Shah, Kiran Tabeer, Leyla Zuberi, Madiha Rizvi and Malik Hamid Raza.
