Team to visit Abbottabad next month to prepare a feasibility report

Modern and state-of-the-art flood and sewerage system projects worth Rs3.6 billion have been approved for Abbottabad city.

Korean NGO Council for Overseas Development Cooperation (KCOC) Seo Kongyoung has approved modern and state-of-the-art flood and sewerage system projects for Abbottabad city.

A delegation of the Korean NGO Council for Overseas Development Cooperation (KCOC) headed by Seo Kongyoung met with the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Speaker Assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani on Friday and discussed Rs3.6 billion modern sewerage system, flood management system and other projects for district Abbottabad.

He said that the technical team of KCOC would visit Abbottabad next month to prepare a feasibility report for the issues and propose a modern sewerage system. He directed the officials concerned to complete the feasibility report of both projects during the current year and start the projects within the next fiscal year.

Kongyoung said that Abbottabad is a beautiful city and blessed with natural resources. He also lauded the efforts of Ghani in resolving the issues in the region.
