KARACHI: Peoples Paramedical Staff’s central president, Ameer Hussain Shah, has appealed to the authorities to ensure immediate payment of salaries and allowances to the medical staff of Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center, National Institute of Child Health and National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases. In a statement on Wednesday, he said that timely payments of salaries to the employees of the three major tertiary care hospitals will help calm the unease among them. The Peoples Paramedical Staff President said that the Pakistan Peoples Party believes in strengthening institutions and would therefore never allow any harm to the three major hospitals in the city. He said the rights of the workers of all three hospitals will be protected at every cost.
