Police arrested two robbery suspects after their bail applications were rejected by the Lahore High Court.

Alim Sher and Talib Hussain were charged with a robbery of Rs2.7 million in Hafizabad. The accused appeared before court for the confirmation of their bails. The investigation officer said several cases of robbery had been registered against them. The judge refused to confirm their bails. Upon leaving the courtroom, the men tried to flee. They were chased and overpowered by the police officials.
