'Parey Hut Love' bags international award in India

The Asim Raza, Sheheryar Munawar film has won in the category of Best Film in Wholesome Entertainment.

Asim Raza's 2019 rom-com Parey Hut Love has bagged the Best Film in Wholesome Entertainment award at the South Asia Forum for Art and Creative Heritage (SAFACH)'s International Film Festival in India.

The third edition of the SAFACH, which is South Asia's first borderless-international travelling film festival, was held between December 18 to December 23 in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Sharing the award on his Instagram account, Raza wrote: "Congratulations to the most amazing team in the world, I am so blessed to be a part of you." Azaan Sami Khan, who composed the soundtrack for the film, commented on the post to show his appreciation.

Raza and Sheheryar Munawar’s Parey Hut Love stars the latter opposite Maya Ali along with Ahmed Ali Butt, Zara Noor Abbas, Nadeem Baig, Hina Dilpazeer, Rachel Viccaji, Frieha Altaf and Parisheh James. The film had received mixed reviews and rave responses for its songs.
