At least three people were killed and two people, including a policeman, were injured as a result of a shootout over a dispute concerning the ownership of a house in Karachi.
Express News reported that the incident took place in Peerabad locality of the port city.
Reportedly, the police raided the house to arrest some suspects, but they were fired upon from inside the house, resulting in deaths and injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Shabir, Yarr Gul, and Abdullah.
Police officials said they were recording the statements of the eye-witnesses and the wounded to ascertain the facts.

They said the shootout happened over a property dispute, adding that they were also investigating the involvement of Joharabad police officials in the incident.
Brother of one of the injured informed the media that there was an ongoing dispute over the house ownership.
He said last night, a dozen assailants along with two uniformed cops tried to forcibly enter the house. The group wanted to get possession of the house by force which resulted in a shootout.
“As a result, my brother got wounded while three people from the rival faction were killed,” he added.
