Zainab Abbas, Hamza Kardar welcome baby boy

The television host shared an adorable picture with her newborn son on Instagram

Congratulations are in order for the sports presenter, Zainab Abbas and her husband, Hamza Kardar on the newest addition to their family. The couple welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Taimur Hamza Kardar and much to her fans’ delight, the television host broke the news on her Instagram, sharing an adorable picture with her son.

Filled with pride, Abbas called Taimur her “finest bit of work yet.”

She captioned the post, “This might be my finest bit of work yet. I am thrilled to announce the arrival of Taimur Hamza Kardar on December 7, 2021. Our hearts are full. Do keep us in your prayers”

The heartwarming first look of the mother and son together received love from fans and celebrities alike. Adnan Malik, Shaniera Akram, Babar Azam and Shoaib Akhtar among many others sent their best wishes and congratulated the new mom. Shaniera sent “love from the Akram family” and commented, “Massive congratulations lady! This is one of the best gifts life has, enjoy every minute. Love from The Akram Family.”

Abbas had announced her pregnancy earlier this year in September. She had posted a photo with her ‘travel partner’, breaking the news of her expected motherhood.

Taking to Instagram, Abbas, flaunting her baby bump, wrote, "My travel partner [emoji of a baby] this past year. Feels more like a Test match rather than a T20 but managed to weather the storm and carry on working throughout. Hoping this new journey is as rewarding as the previous one. Grateful.”
