Haleem seeks fair probe into youth’s ‘encounter’

Says PTI stands shoulder to shoulder with the victim family in their hour of grief

The Central Vice President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Leader of the Opposition in Sindh Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh, condemned killing of a young student in allegedly fake police encounter and demanded free and fair investigation of the sad incident.

Sheikh on Wednesday reached at home of Arslan Mehsud, the deceased boy, along with PTI MNA Alamgir Khan, MPA Malik Shehzad Awan and others and condoled with his father Liaquat Mehsud.

PTI stood shoulder to shoulder with the victim family in their hour of grief and their struggle for justice.

The PTI leader said that DIG Nasir Aftab claimed to have put concerned SHO Azam Gopang behind the bars and DIG also shared with him a picture portraying arrest of SHO under allegations. “But later it was disclosed that Nasir Aftab misinformed me and Azam Gopang was not apprehended,” Haleem complained.
