President Dr Arif Alvi on Tuesday appreciated the standard of education in NUST constituent colleges especially the Military College of Signals (MCS) and its ever-rising position amongst world renowned universities, the military’s media wing said.
The president said this while gracing the 28th convocation ceremony of MCS held in Rawalpindi as the chief guest, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The commandant MCS highlighted the academic and research achievements of the college over the last one year.
While addressing the gathering, President Alvi appreciated the efforts of the faculty and management of MCS for holding such an auspicious event of the next generation of talented engineers of Pakistan.

He congratulated the graduating students as their efforts have come to fruition.
President Alvi, according to the ISPR, urged the young graduates to continue working hard for the progression of nation and humanity “because our future is intertwined with the future of the country”.
The undergraduate degrees were conferred on 199 students in Electrical (Telecom) and Software Engineering.
Lieutenant General Syed Muhammad Adnan, Inspector General Training and Evaluation, Rector NUST Lieutenant General (retd) Javed Mahmood Bukhari, faculty members, educationist and large number of students were present during the ceremony.
