Dengue, Covid prevention discussed
Novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has not gone anywhere yet, occasion Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center Former Executive Director Seemi Jamali said on Monday.
Covid should not be considered a myth, as portrayed on the social media, Jamali said and warned against lowering guards against the pandemic.
She was speaking at a seminar organised by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Medical and Social Welfare Committee at Haseena Moin Hall to spread awareness about the Covid and Dengue.
Medical and Social Welfare Committee Chairman Dr Qaiser Sajjad said: "we are afraid that fifth wave of Covid pandemic will hit us by the end of December.”

Pakland Hospital Administrator Salman Ismail said that the media is requested to spread awareness that vaccination of children is very important.
Karachi Health Services Director Dr Akram Sultan requested public representatives, doctors, and members of the press to form a working group to act in emergency situation.
Dr Essa Lab and Diagnostic Center CEO Dr Farhan Essa Abdullah, Dr Sadia Amir, Dr Beenish, and Dr Mehboob also made suggestion.
