Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that the greatest way to exhibit love for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is by acting according to His Seerat (way of life).
The prime minister made the remarks during a meeting of the Rehmatul lil Alameen Authority in Islamabad today, according to Express News.
The premier was apprised that a comprehensive media plan related to the authority would be furnished by next week, while the focus will be on character-building of youth and children in light of the Prophet’s Seerat.

The meeting was also told that the embassies of the country will be taken onboard for raising awareness of the Prophet’s teachings and to tackle Islamophobia.
The participants were informed that the authority will ensure incorporation of subjects related to ethics in the syllabus of schools and universities according to the principles of the state of Madina.
They were told that the authority has chalked out measures to highlight the harmony between Islam and science.
PM Imran issued directives for early implementation of the measures planned by the authority. He said that the state of Madina is an example of principles and morality, while Meesaq-e-Madina (charter of Madina) guarded human rights.

"Islamic society was the most modern society of its time, while people were given guidance related to Islam in their local languages."
Imran Khan said the Sufi saints in light of life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught religion to the local people in their language.
The premier further said that character-building will be carried out through religious festivals, while the Seerat will be highlighted in the universities through research.
Concluding, he said, "Every citizen of Pakistan is an Ashiq-e-Rasool (Prophet’s devotee) and the greatest way to exhibit love for the Prophet (PBUH) is by acting according to His Seerat."
Federal ministers Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Shafqat Mahmood, as well as experts including Pro Dr Ijaz Akram, Dr Khalid Masood and Shehzad Nawaz and Dr Ata-ur-Rehman were those in attendance on the occasion.
Last month, President Arif Alvi issued an ordinance related to the establishment of Rehmatul lil Alameen Authority, as part of the government efforts to form ‘Riyasat-e-Madina’. The authority would take steps to make the “dream of a just and welfare state a reality” and carryout research Seerat-e-Nabvi for “the character building” of youth. It would also consult experts for making Seerat-e-Nabvi a part of the curriculum.
