The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has vowed to fight the murder case of Fehmida Sial, a mother of two children allegedly killed over a property matter in Larkana district, and get her justice.
The central vice president of PTI and the opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh met the family of Sial at village Khairpur Yuso in Larkana on Monday and offered condolence while assuring of his support in the case.
Talking to the media later Sheikh alleged that the woman was murdered in her home by Shaheed Hussain Isran, father of PPP MPA Ganhwer Khan Isran, in presence of local police. He told the media that he was visiting the village on directives of PM Imran Khan and the Sindh Governor Imran Ismail to console the affected family and to assure them that they will get justice.
"The poor woman carrying the Holy Quran begged for mercy but the cruel killer and his henchman opened fire," he further alleged, adding that the police guards and vehicles of the MPA accompanied his father. He accused the Isran family for trying to occupy the house and land of the poor Sial family. According to him, the accused earlier kidnapped a male members of the Sial family through police, then attacked their home and killed Fahmida Sial.
The opposition leader blamed the Sindh police for being hands in gloves in such crimes committed by the politically influential persons. "... it is evident from the fact that anti-terrorism provisions are not included in the FIR." He equated the killing with the murder case of Nizam Jokhio in whose murder FIR, lodged in Thatta district, PPP's MPA Jam Awais was booked and arrested last week.

He referred to the legal battle being waged by Advocate Ume Rubab Chandio of Dadu district who has accused two PPP's MPAs, Sardar Burhan Khan Chandio and Sardar Ghaibi Khan Chandio for killing her father, uncle and grandfather. He asked the Sial family to stand firm against any intimidation and coercion by the cruel tribal chieftains and advised them to stay away from jirga.
Ume Rubab, who accompanied Sheikh to offer condolence, said the feudal system had destroyed Sindh and that it had compelled the daughters of Sindh to come out to seek justice. The local PTI leaders claimed that the Sial family is being pressured to withdraw from their case and the local police are also not providing them security.
