At least 368 Police Special Security Unit (SSU) commandos along with 500 police and law enforcement agencies personnel will provide security to the West Indies Women Cricket Team tour in the port city.
Security and Emergency Services Division DIG said the security and emergency services division of Karachi Police has formulated an integrated security plan for the matches to be played at the National Stadium during the West Indies Women's Cricket Team's tour of Pakistan.
The security plan was finalized at a meeting held at the SSU headquarters which was presided over by DIG Security and Emergency Services Division, Maqsood Ahmed.
The meeting was attended by senior officers of police, Army, Rangers, PCB and all stakeholders.

At least 368 SSU commandoes including lady commandoes and 500 personnel of security division along with other law enforcement agencies will perform their duties at the National Stadium Karachi, airport, route, hotels and other places whereas a specialized command and control bus will remain deployed around the stadium to monitor the law-and-order situation.
In addition, a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team including women commandos will be on standby at the SSU headquarters to deal with any emergent situation.
