An abusive marriage (II)

KARACHI: Someone needs to ask Maulana Sherani why he believes that a crime like rape or sexual harassment is justifiable. Just like poverty doesn’t justify theft; rape cannot be justified on the basis that a woman is not dressed properly. The code of dress as ordained by religion is not a legal requirement. Maulana Sherani’s views on who should be given protection and who should not are not in line with the laws of the state.
