The Romanian singer took to Twitter to make the announcement

Romanian singer Adrian Sina, popularly known as Akcent, recently took to Twitter to reveal that he will be spending his holidays in Hunza, sharing his wish to promote a positive image of Pakistan.

The singer shared a brief video of himself in which he can be heard saying, “Hello, this is Akcent and I am so happy to see you again in Pakistan.” He wrote in the tweet, “This time I have decided to spend some of my holidays in Hunza Pakistan to show the world that Pakistan is a Safe and Beautiful country.

Previously, Sina came to Pakistan’s defense following the cancellation of England and New Zealand’s cricket tours of the country. He took to social media to express his love for Pakistan, where he has held several concerts in the past. The musician wrote, “I have been to Pakistan many times and I always felt it like a home. I feel safe there and the love I receive from Pakistan is beyond amazing. I will come back even more often. I love my fans! Pakistan Zindabad!"

The singer was also spotted sporting a kurta at a music festival in Europe earlier this year. In a Facebook post, Sina confirmed that the kurta was indeed from Pakistan, as speculated by fans. “Setting new trends with my beautiful Pakistani kurta on a YouTube Music Event in Europe,” Sina said he was wearing the Pakistani garment as a style statement, not just homage to Pakistan. He was just simply trying to set a new fashion trend.
