FIA detains alleged child porn ringleader

Dozens of videos of objectionable content were seized from the suspect's mobile phone

A Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) cybercrime team arrested the alleged ringleader of a child pornography group on Wednesday.

According to the FIA officials, dozens of videos of objectionable content were seized from the mobile phone of the suspect and a case was registered against him.

FIA Cybercrime Assistant Director Shoaib Riaz received the information that a man Shahid Iqbal, the son of Rafiq Iqbal, and a resident of Muhammadabad, Satiana Road, allegedly made child pornography videos and sold them abroad.

The FIA assistant director along with ASI Babar and constable Samar Abbas, conducted a successful raid on Satiana Road, Mohammadabad and arrested the alleged child pornography ringleader identified as Shahid Iqbal, the son of Rafiq.
