Three people were killed while five others suffered serious injuries in traffic accidents on Tuesday.
Reportedly, the victims were shifted to a hospital after receiving medical treatment.
According to the police report, a truck loaded with cattle collided with a load trawler near a beverage factory on the interchange motorway.
As a result of the incident, 28-year-old Qamarul Zaman, the son of Zaman, 45-year-old Ghulam Akbar, the son of Saeed, 36-year-old Zafar Bashir, the son of Bashir Ahmed and 50-year-old Khalid, the son of Khair Din suffered injuries.
Motorway police shifted the road crash victims to Allied Hospital Faisalabad after they were provided medical aid by Rescue 1122 personnel. However, Ghulam Akbar succumbed to his injuries.
Sahiyanwala police station reached the spot, seized the body and handed it over to his heirs.

Separately, Ahmed, the son of Ibrahim and a resident of 189RB, died on the spot as a result of collision between two motorcycles near Chak No 199RB, Rasoolpur while Saifullah was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Rizwan, the son of Khalid Jutt, and Rehan, son of Mahmood Jutt, were injured in a collision between a car and a tractor trolley near Jhang Road, Panisra.
Rescue 1122 personnel rushed them to Allied Hospital Faisalabad after providing medical assistance where Rehan died. Police handed over the bodies of the deceased to their relatives after taking necessary action and registered cases.
