Two days ago, 10 terrorists including four commanders were killed in an IBO carried out by security forces in K-P’s South Waziristan district on the reported presence of a militant hideout.

According to a statement issued by the ISPR, the terrorists remained actively involved in planting improvised explosive devices (IED), conducting fire raids and target killing of innocent civilians. They were planning to conduct more acts of terrorism inside South Waziristan.

Earlier this month, two soldiers embraced martyrdom after an IED exploded during the security forces’ area-clearance operation being conducted in the North Waziristan district of K-P.

On September 26, one soldier of Frontier Corps was martyred and two others sustained injuries when terrorists targeted a security forces’ check post in Machh town of Balochistan’s Bolan district.
