Livestock Looting: Jatoi ‘thieves’ injure five Mahar villagers

SUKKUR: Five villagers were injured by a group of thieves in the Moley Dino Mahar village near Lakhi Ghulam Shah, on Monday morning. Thieves entered the village and were attempting to steal cattle, when the villagers woke up and attempted to stop the burglary. The thieves attacked the villagers with wooden sticks and hatchets, injuring five villagers, Safiullah Mahar, Abdul Ghafoor Mahar, Abdul Sattar Mahar, Amanullah Mahar and Abdul Ghani Mahar. The villagers managed to capture a thief, identified as Shahmore Jatoi, and handed him over to the police. Three injured villagers were taken to Lakhi Ghulam Shah Hospital, while Abdul Ghafoor Mahar and Amanullah Mahar were taken to Civil Hospital, Sukkur because they were in critical condition. No case has been registered as yet.
