Eternals actor Angelina Jolie and the After Hours hitmaker The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, were recently spotted leaving a swanky eatery in Los Angeles, once again fueling rumours that the two are a couple.
The pair looked chic in all-black outfits, with Angelina donning a classic black dress and Abel dressed in a casual black jeans and jacket combo. The two were spotted leaving the same Italian eatery in June, with a source revealing to Page Six that the dinners may be of a more professional nature. "They're clearly not trying to hide the dinner date," they said, adding, "He's definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he's starring in."
Angelina has been single since her high-profile split from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor Brad Pitt. The two got married in 2014 and announced their separation two years later.
Recently, when asked about what she looks for in a partner, the Hollywood superstar shared that she is rather picky. Angelina said, “I probably have a very long list of ‘no’s’. I’ve been alone for a long time now."
The actor recently shared more details of the allegedly abusive relationship between her and Brad, with whom she is currently engaged in a custody battle for their children. In a promotional interview for her upcoming children’s rights book Know Your Rights and Claim Them with the Guardian, Angelina explained that she feared for her family’s safety during the marriage.
Elaborating on how it was difficult for her to take injustices in her own life seriously because they felt “smaller” in comparison to global issues, she shared, “Often you cannot recognise something in a personal way, especially if your focus is on the greatest global injustices, because everything else seems smaller. It’s so hard. I’d like to be able to have this discussion and it’s so important...”
The actor concluded directly addressing her split from the Fight Club actor, “I’m not the kind of person who makes decisions like the decisions I had to make lightly. It took a lot for me to be in a position where I felt I had to separate from the father of my children.”
