RAWALPINDI:

The coronavirus vaccination centre at Shahbaz Sharif Sports Complex has been shut down ahead of the cricket series between Pakistan and New Zealand. The largest vaccination facility of Rawalpindi is situated close to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium (RCS).

The health department has not shifted the vaccination centre to an alternate location owing to which unvaccinated citizens or those who are to get their second doses are facing extreme difficulties.

District Health Authority (DHA) senior official Dr Ahsan Ghani on Monday said that the facility has been shut down ahead of the cricket series.
