Ambassador Schlagheck and other members of the delegation expressed interest in the process of providing civic amenities in Karachi, saying that the city has developed rapidly and is an important coastal city in the region.

Meanwhile, Wahab brushed aside criticism on collecting KMC taxes via power bills. "The money received through the Municipal Utility Bill will be spent on the construction and development of the city in a very transparent manner," he said.
