Inside Minal Khan, Ahsan Mohsin Ikram's exuberant 'Dholki'

Actors and lovebirds kicked off their wedding festivities in a fun and traditional fashion.

The wedding festivities of actors Minal Khan and Ahsan Mohsin Ikram have officially begun! The lovebirds, who announced their engagement earlier this year, are tying the knot this week in the presence of family and friends.

But before doing the deed, the two made it a point to kick-off their wedding shenanigans with a fun and traditional dholki. Taking to his Instagram on Tuesday evening, Ahsan shared snippets of the preparations of the event set to take place at his house.

Later, the groom also added photos and videos from the dance floor to his Instagram Stories, keeping his followers entertained. The event rolled out under an exuberant canopy and a well-set stage for the bride and groom. Under hues of red and blue, Khan and Ikram shaked a leg as they donned exquisite, colour-coordinated outfits.

Khan looked like a breath of fresh air in an orange lehenga choli with golden embroidery and a touch of gota work. Her makeup was subtle while her jwellery, minimal, as she adorned matching earrings and green bangles.

In a picture shared by Khan, the duo can be seen dancing together in a romantic fashion. She captioned this post, “Twirling with my one and only.”

While in another picture, she stood in Ikram’s embrace as the two were captured laughing together. To caption this, she wrote, “My forever and ever.” In other highlights posted on her Instagram,

Khan shared clips with her beau as they spiraled across the dance floor, hand in hand, moving to the beat of all the tracks.

Ikram had shared his dholki invite with fans this last week. "Come dance with the Ikram family," read the Invitation card.

Khan and Ikram are set to tie the knot on Friday, September 10, 2021. The Sun Yaara actor had recently shared snippets from her star-studded bridal shower. In attendance was Khan’s twin sister Aiman Muneeb, as well as actors Saboor Aly and Kinza Hashmi. Filled with peach, black and gold, the slumber party theme of the bridal shower shone through thanks to the girls’ matching silk pyjamas.
