A local right activist and head of Youth of Waziristan, Noor Islam Dawar was gunned down by unidentified miscreants in Mir Ali, North Waziristan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) in what appears to be yet another targeted attack.

Police told The Express Tribune that Noor Islam was on his way home from Mir Ali bazaar when miscreants who were riding a bike and a motor car opened firing at him.

Noor Islam received multiple bullets and he was rushed to the nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The attackers, as usual, managed to escape after committing the crime. The attack caused widespread panic among the locals who demanded of the government to improve the law and order situation in the area.
