Last week, a woman allegedly strangled her husband to death along with her accomplices as the man stopped her from indulging in ‘immoral activities’.

The suspect initially tried to stage the incident as her husband’s suicide. Police took the body of the deceased into their custody and handed it over to his heirs after postmortem.

The police have registered a case against four accused including the victim's wife and started searching for them.

In a case filed by Shabbir Ali Qamar, a resident of Chiniot District, Chak 209 JB, it has been stated that his brother 27-year-old Muhammad Jaber Ali, was married to Firdous Bibi.

Qamar said, “My sister-in-law Firdous Bibi's character was ‘doubtful’ and my brother Jaber Ali used to stop her indulging in ‘immoral activities’. Out of this resentment, she, along with her accomplices, strangled and killed my brother at the camp of Munir Ahmed Jutt and hanged his body with a fan and concocted a story of suicide.”

A case has been registered against the victim's wife and her three unidentified accomplices under the different provisions of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) including 302 and 334.
