Police, diagnostic lab ink deal

Police personnel will be able to use the medical testing facilities at discounted rates

KARACHI:

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Tuesday between the Sindh Police and Pro Lab Diagnostics Center to ensure provision of quality medical services to the police officers, officials and their family members on discounted rates.

Sindh Police Welfare Muhammad Tariq Nawaz and Pro Lab Director Mirza Umair Baig signed the MoU during a ceremony held at the Central Police Office in Karachi. IGP Mushtaq Ahmed Mehar, Headquarters DIG Pir Muhammad Shah and Director Mirza Ikhtiar Baig were also present on the occasion.

According to the MoU, a 20 per cent discount on the pathological lab testing facility including mobile X-ray, Covid-19 testing and other services shall be offered to senior officers of the police department at the Pro Lab Diagnostics Centers. Police personnel will be able to use the medical testing facilities at discounted rates upon showing a valid police ID card or letter from the police department to the respective diagnostic centre.
