Leading Islamic varsity denounces attack on Hindu temple
One of the top schools of Islamic learning the Jamia Binoria Al-Aalmia (Binoria International University) on Saturday censured the desecration of a Hindu temple in Rahim Yar Khan.
"The attack on Rahim Yar Khan Temple is condemnable. Islam does not allow harming the worship place of any religion," said the Binoria International University Administrator Mufti Noman Naeem adding that the attack on the temple should not be linked to Islam.
"The protection of minorities' places of worship in a Muslim country is the responsibility of the government," he said in a statement.

He said that Pakistan has come into existence in the name of Islam, its law does not allow any place of worship to be damaged and there is no place in Islam for such acts.
