Being one of the youngest actors in the industry, Hania Aamir has grown up in front of the internet sharing almost every moment of her life with her followers. This means that at times she also had to face more scrutiny than anyone else. However, whether it is the backlash for supporting her friends or speaking out against bullying and online harassment she faced, nothing has ever stopped Aamir from speaking her mind.
Aamir’s recent message through an Instagram post has been a similar one where she has talked about struggling to please everyone on the internet including those who are mostly criticising her every move. The actor talks about how just being herself in front of the public has brought so much criticism her way. It also seems to be the reason she receives so many negative comments from the public.
However, Aamir proudly admitted, “I’m young I’m genuine I’m flamboyant I’m loud and I’m kind.” She believes that just because she is growing up in front of all of us does not mean she can’t live her life to the fullest. I will make mistakes. I will change. I will make bad choices and I will make better ones. My views will change and some won’t."
Life is all about growing and learning with the process and one shouldn’t have to apologise for it and Aamir believes the same. She continued, “I will grow and I will learn. But I will not apologise for being human. I will not apologise for growing for evolving.”
The Dilruba actor called her post a reflection of her thoughts. She called it an “honest hour”, saying, "Because I’ve been struggling with these thoughts for the past few weeks trying to figure out what could possibly please the negative ones on the internet.”
However, she also seemed to find an answer and asserted, “I’ve come to a conclusion that I absolutely do not know how to be anyone else but me. I have unapologetically been myself loud and clear and that should not change because people fail to understand me. I am not just pretty pictures I am much more.”
Many of Aamir’s fan following admires her for her kindness and for being true to herself. And it seems like a few hate comments will not change that as she wrote, “I can’t be pretentious and I will not try to be someone I’m not. I hope we all can grow together and learn to be more tolerant towards each other.”
She then addressed those who might be in the same situation as her and struggling to embrace their individualities. “Do not lose your individuality just because you don’t see anyone like you or because people around you don’t understand you. As long as you’re not hurting anyone. be yourself,” wrote Aamir.
We hope that all of us learn to embrace our true selves and our individualities and in Aamir’s words, “Here’s to truly living and being your unapologetic beautiful self.”
