KARACHI:

Three people, including two children, were injured when two people opened fire at a wedding party in Bhakkar Goth on Abu AlHassan Isfahani Road.

Police said that the suspect, Asif, had allegedly avenged the refusal of his marriage proposal. The accused managed to escape with his accomplice after the incident.

The suspects had come in a car at a wedding ceremony in Bhakkar Goth on Abu Al-Hassan Isfahani Road on Sunday evening and opened indiscriminate fire.

The firing caused a stampede as everyone ran for his life. Three people were injured in the stampede, including 32-year-old Zaheer Ahmed Ibrahim, 10-year-old Gul Nazir and 11-year-old Shoaib Toti.
