A few weeks ago, the incident was reported in Nishtar Colony. A minor girl went to study in school where a teenage boy sexually assaulted her in washroom. When the family lodged complaint before school administration and police, they allegedly tried to hide the facts and made excuses to register FIR.
The family and relatives lodged a protest and blocked a road. A case was registered against the suspect and he was arrested.
Earlier, a man was arrested in Shahdara for sexually assaulting his minor stepdaughter. The suspect’s wife caught him red-handed. He had intimidated her not to register a case before police.
However, when she approached police against his warning, he along with his accomplices shot at his in-laws.
A few days prior to this incident, a man was arrested in the same area for sexually assaulting a minor girl. Reportedly, the suspect ran an IT shop in the area and had lured and raped minor children multiple times.
