Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid reviewed progress on different development schemes at the Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education (SH&ME) Department on Monday.

SH&ME Department Secretary Amir Jan, Technical Advisor Ajmal Bhatti, Additional Secretary Development Dr Asif Tufail, Chief Planning Officer Abdul Haq Bhatti, Children’s Hospital Dean Masood Sadiq and Dr Javed Chaudhry were present on the occasion.

The provincial health minister reviewed pace of work different development projects. The SH&ME secretary briefed Dr Rashid on the ongoing development schemes.

The new schemes included new block at mother and child block at Ganga Ram Hospital construction of Institute of Cardiology Dera Ghazi Khan and Teaching Hospital Sheikh Zayed.

Dr Rashid said that mother and child block at Ganga Ram would be completed by June 2021, adding that work on Nishtar-2 Multan was continued at a fast pace.
