DIJKOT:

The woman along with her daughter poisoned her son after he forbade him to do bad deeds in Dijkot.

Police said Faizan Nazir, a resident of 236 RB Hassan Block, was kicked out of his house by his mother two months ago when he tried to stop her from continuing “immoral acts”.

Meanwhile, the police chief was taking legal action, the neighbour Sikandar Hayat, said that Faizan was found dead in his house. His mother, Kaniz Fatima, informed him that Faizan had swallowed a black stone and later confessed to killing him before the police. The victim’s other brother is also living with his mother.

The plaintiff further said the victim's mother was married a couple of times earlier as well. After the autopsy, police took the mother and daughter into custody and began further investigation.

Earlier this year in May, a woman and her paramour were booked on Tuesday for allegedly poisoning to death her husband in the city around 10 months ago.

Reportedly, the woman, who was allegedly caught with her paramour 10 months ago, staged a suicide drama to cover up the crime.

Around 10 months after the postmortem report revealed the fact, Nishatabad police registered a case against the four suspects, including the victim’s wife and her paramour. Police also arrested the woman and started interrogation.

According to the police report, Abdul Majeed, a resident of 7GB, Panjwar Nawaz Town, had taken a stand in the case registered at Nishatabad police station that on June 4 last year, his nephew Mohammad Adeel, the son of Dilawar Hussain called him and claimed Ramzan Ahmed was not feeling well. By the time Abdul Majeed reached his brother Ramzan’s home, he had died.

A day prior to the incident, there was a fight between the couple over monetary transactions. Sakina allegedly gave poison to the complainant’s brother. Nishatabad police registered a case regarding his alleged murder and conducted a postmortem. Faisalabad Medical University APMO Dr Muhammad Shafiq sent the body to Punjab Forensic Science Agency.

According to the post-mortem report, the complainant’s brother Ramzan died while consuming poison, which proved the murder.

Investigating Officer Sub Inspector Amin Wattoo arrested Sakina.
