A special committee will be formed to resolve the problems of foreign investors in the easiest possible way, announced Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar. In a meeting with a delegation of the Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) on Wednesday, he discussed the hurdles impacting trade and investment between Pakistan and China. During the meeting, the governor appreciated the efforts of PCJCCI aimed at promoting bilateral trade. He lauded the chamber for steering the transfer of modern technology to Pakistan. He assured the PCJCCI of discussing its proposals with the federal and provincial departments concerned for successful implementation of plans to further cement bilateral trade and investment ties between the two neighbours. PCJCCI President SM Naveed told the governor that his chamber aimed to address the problems faced by Chinese investors due to lack of investment facilities in Pakistan.
