The provincial ministers Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani and Taimur Talpur have said that they were grateful to incompetent opposition who did not obstruct the process of budget approval and added that first time in 25 year of Sindh Assembly history, no cut motion was submitted on budget.

They said that when the Speaker presented the budget for voting in the house, no one opposed it. This means that the budget was passed with consensus and consultation.

They expressed these views while talking to the media at Media Corner in Sindh Assembly after approval of budget for the year 2021-22.

Sindh Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah said that they were not in haste to pass budget as PPP have clear majority in the house. "The seriousness of the opposition could be gauged from the fact that it did not present any cut motion on the budget, but only made uproar and noise in the house to disrupt its proceedings," he said.

Sindh Minister for Education and Labour Saeed Ghani said that the budget session provide an opportunity to opposition members to speak on the budget of any department and raise the issues of their respective constituencies, which they missed and kept raising senseless noises.

Provincial IT Minister Taimur Talpur said that for the first time in 25 years, no cut motion against the policies and budget of the Sindh government was presented which meant the opposition was 100 per cent in agreement with the budget.
